AI Video Interviews

Structured behavioral interviews — on the candidate's schedule, with anti-cheat baked in.

The deeper second-round. 20-30 minute video conversation, role-specific behavioral questions, full transcript and scorecard delivered to your review queue.

What every interview delivers

  • Full video recording + searchable transcript
  • STAR-method scoring across 4–6 criteria you defined
  • Anti-cheat risk score (coached, AI-assisted, off-camera prompts)
  • Strengths + gaps + recommendation in plain English
  • Side-by-side comparison view across your shortlist
What it does

The capability, broken down.

Behavioral depth, not multiple choice

Raffi asks open-ended STAR-method questions ('Tell me about a time you...') and probes the answers — pushing for specifics, numbers, outcomes. The transcript shows you exactly how the candidate thinks, not just what they say.

Custom interview structure per role

You define the criteria (technical fit, communication, leadership, etc.). Raffi generates role-specific questions for each, asks them, scores them on the rubric you set. Same questions across every candidate = fair comparison.

Browser-based — no SDKs, no installs

Candidate clicks a link, grants camera/mic permission, talks to Raffi for 20–30 minutes. Works on desktop and mobile. Raffi handles connection drops, retries, and saves progress.

Anti-cheat is a first-class signal

Every interview runs through Raffi's anti-cheat scoring — detecting teleprompter reads, AI-generated answers, off-camera coaching, suspicious latency patterns. You see a risk score on every transcript and can filter accordingly.

FAQ

AI Video Interviews — questions, answered.

What's the difference between the phone screen and the video interview?

Phone screen = 10–15 min qualifier (still interested, role fit, salary expectations). Video interview = 20–30 min behavioral deep-dive (STAR-method, scored rubric). Most teams run phone screen first, then invite the top 10–15 to video interview, then meet the top 3–5.

Can candidates retake the interview?

By default, no — single take preserves authenticity. You can enable retakes per role if your bar tolerates it. Raffi flags retakes in the scorecard so you can see which answer the candidate chose to send.

How does the anti-cheat work?

Real-time signals (latency between question and answer, eye movement patterns, audio fingerprinting) + post-interview audit (linguistic patterns matching known LLM outputs, fact-checks against the CV). Risk score 0–100, with flags for the specific signals. See the Anti-cheat page for the full breakdown.

Does Raffi compare candidates for me?

Yes — side-by-side view in your review queue. Same criteria, same scores, no recall bias. You can shortlist 3–5 from a side-by-side and skip the 'wait what did the third one say again' problem.
